With the knowledge of working on Redken Brand Photoshoots under our belts, the team was brought on to concept and plan for Matrix's 2018 Brand Photoshoot to capture promotional content for 2018-19 launches. Using the base marketing plan per launch, we created storylines that captured the mood and energy that was unique to each one.

Taking into consideration the inspiration behind the Fall Trend—mystic vibes and crystals—we created an intimate, spiritual tent for friends to hang out in
NEW SoColor Cult
We took cues from the bold packaging designs of SoColor Cult and came up with an interactive exhibition room—a rubber ducky pit with disco balls jutting out from the walls—where the girls were able to capture an Instagrammable moment
Aquatic Palette
With hair color inspired by the ocean and all that it holds, we chose to tell a story of a bold individual that expresses her love for the ocean through her surfer lifestyle and artwork

When we were challenged to re-design the Matrix approach to Trade Advertisements, we went with a cleaner design to allow room for the images to breathe and the consumers’ eyes to move smoothly across the page. We presented safe options and a more detailed option that told an in-depth story of the inspiration behind the launch. Please note: all copy within the layouts are for-placement-only.
